The lights are turned down, sound activated LED lights vibrate through the room, pumped up music from a high end sound system fills the air and an instructor with a headset sits atop a lead bike, calling out commands. This indoor cycling studio is designed to deliver a Spinning experience like no other!
Unlike other types of aerobics classes the atmosphere in the class is very social and there is absolutely no worry of falling off your bike! In essence, Spinning classes provide you with all the benefits of aerobic activity in a fun and supportive group setting. Spinning is an enjoyable and highly motivational environment, for people of all levels from beginners through to professional cyclists.
Spinning is a great way to get and keep your body in shape, boost fitness levels & is one of the highest, if not the highest, calorie burning exercise class going! You can burn up to 1000 calories a session!
- If you are new to indoor cycling classes, arrive a few minutes early so the instructor can fit you to the bike and give you a few pointers.
- Appropriate clothing must be worn i.e. trainers, shorts or tracksuit bottoms and t-shirt. Also bring a bottle of water to keep hydrated and a small hand towel or flannel.
- Classes last 60 minutes and start on the hour so please arrive 5-10 minutes in advance.
